Indian Handicraft Week Celebration at Freelance Talents Page

Last post of Indian Handicrafts Celebration Week ( 9 May 2013 to 15 May 2013). I know India's Human Development Index ranking is ordinary, GDP wise we are about average...but still without a doubt India is the most colorful country in the world....the level of diversity in terms of people and how they live their life is extreme and that reflects in the countless art forms, crafts...developed, evolved and carried on as tradition for centuries. 

 
Sadly, due to very less returns on these handicraft items, lack of government-corporate support and huge number of middlemen...people are forced to choose other profession...many traditional art forms are now extinct.

Freelance Talents salutes and thanks all the artists who are active in such rare traditional art forms even at the cost of compromising with their standard of living.

भारतीय हस्तशिल्प, हथकरघा सप्ताह का फ्रीलांस टेलेंटस पेज पर समापन हुआ। मैंने भारत की अधिक से अधिक पारंपरिक कलाओं को इसके अंतर्गत दिखाने का भरसक प्रयास किया पर 6 लाख से अधिक गाँवों और सोलह सौ से ज्यादा शहरों के देश मे जिसके बारे मे कहा जाता है जहाँ हर 12 मील पर भाषा-बोली के लहज़े, शब्दों तक मे अंतर आ जाता है .....उसकी अनगिनत कलाओं और कलाकारों को मै बस सलाम और शुक्रिया कर सकता हूँ। जय हिन्द!!
